地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，此地原称陶前乡，因有大片森林，又有水流经过，村名取木、沥二字。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年起为三栋乡辖下的行政村，此后随区划变动依次成为小乡、人民公社的营和大队，1961年起主要属三栋人民公社（1962年至1973年间曾并入永湖公社）；1986年7月三栋撤区建镇，改称木沥村委会，属三栋镇至今[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，木沥村列入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位[1]。
