据博雅地名网（未注明年份），全村310户、1100人，山地852亩，耕地500多亩。1963年曾与富佛大队合并为富山大队，1983年分出，单独设范山乡。[1][2]2019年9月，范山村进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
