地名由来[edit]
村东有一座山，形状像铜鼓，村名因此而起，后来简写成「同古」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清雍正年间（1723年至1735年），吴氏始祖清赞公从惠州永安县龙窝乡迁此建村，后来杨、甘、温等姓相继迁入。[2]1959年7月称同古大队；1983年4月改乡，1986年称同古村，属广利镇；1989年3月改管理区；1992年12月起属新设的凤凰镇，之后改称同古村委会。[2]
地理与经济[edit]
全村面积11.1平方公里，有194户、860人，耕地162亩，辖9个村民小组。[1][3]自1995年起，村里以旅游业为重点，村内景区有云鼎景区、藏龙沟、亲亲大自然和同古山居，年游客约6万人次，另有13家餐饮户。2008年村集体收入42万元，农民人均收入4110元。[3]
荣誉[edit]
同古村是鼎湖区十大生态宜居美丽乡村示范村之一，争取到800万元创建资金，并是首批申报创建省级民主法治村的村居之一；2021年2月，司法部、民政部公布其为第八批全国民主法治示范村（社区）。[1][3]
