地名由来[edit]
清乾隆中期，客家人在此建村，起初叫「蓝湖」，因盛产蓝靛而得名。后来由于「蓝」与「南」的土音相近，又因当地把村落叫作「寮」，遂改称南寮。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村由梅州迁来的良氏人家建于清乾隆年间（1736年至1795年）。1959年7月称南寮大队；1983年4月改乡，1986年称南寮村，属广利镇；1989年3月改管理区；1992年12月起属新设的凤凰镇，之后改称南寮村民委员会。[2]
地理与经济[edit]
离镇政府18公里，面积8平方公里，有159户、691人，耕地380亩，下辖9个村小组。[1]村里以种冬叶为主，成立了冬叶基地合作社，并种肉桂、养鸡和鹧鸪；外出务工的有200多人。村集体收入3.5万元，农民人均收入4127元。[1]
