深坑村属雷州市客路镇，在湛江市境内，是镇下的一个行政村[2]。其建制沿革与所获荣誉见下。
历史沿革[edit]
深坑在解放初至1957年为乡，1958年并入合兴管理区，1961年重立深坑大队；1980年饶里从中分出，1983年又并回深坑乡；1987年2月二者分开，深坑设村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年重设村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
