车路村属雷州市客路镇，在湛江市境内，是镇下的一个行政村[2]。其建制沿革与所获荣誉见下。
历史沿革[edit]
解放初期，车路称车路头乡；1958年改管理区，1961年为大队，1983年11月设乡，1987年2月称村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年重设村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
