迈坦村属雷州市客路镇，在湛江市境内，是镇下的一个行政村[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
1951年划分辖区时，迈坦由双墩乡管辖；1956年分出单独设乡，1961年为大队，1983年复设乡，1987年2月改村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年定为村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
