为民村是广东省江门市蓬江区荷塘镇东北部的行政村，总面积3平方公里，北与佛山市顺德区交界；1091户、3830人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前属顺德县白藤乡；1958年归新会县外海公社；1961年划入荷塘公社，设为民大队；其后依次改称为民乡（1984年）、为民村委会（1987年）、为民管理区（1988年），1999年再叫村委会；2002年随荷塘镇划归蓬江区。[1]
经济[edit]
村内有各类企业36户，商铺20多间，肉菜市场3个。[1]为民村在2021年和2022年入选淘宝村；2021年12月获广东省卫生村称号；2026年3月入选「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
