吕步村是广东省江门市蓬江区荷塘镇的行政村，位于荷塘镇中心西南，沿西江一带分布，全村面积1.1平方公里，设6个村民小组，总人口1825人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期至1951年属荷塘乡；1951年6月起先后属建政乡、三良乡；1958年归外海公社三良管理区；1961年划入荷塘公社，设虫雷步大队；其后依次改称虫雷步乡（1984年）、虫雷步村委会（1987年）、虫雷步管理区（1988年），1999年再叫村委会；2002年随荷塘镇划归蓬江区。[1]
经济[edit]
村确定“工业兴村、物业稳村、科教旺村”的发展方向，并投入500多万元建成吕步远昌小学新校舍。[1]2019年9月，村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」；2026年1月，村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
