历史沿革与地名[edit]
据《顺德县地名志》，相传上村头有处叫“羊角沙”的地方，最早有位周姓的“羊角将军”驻守，后人传讹成“羊额”并沿用[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
据博雅地名网转载的伦教街道资料，村内约1813户，居住人口1.38万左右，户籍约6300人，外来约7500人；耕地约17.26公顷，鱼塘约99.27公顷[1]。羊额村进入2021年、2022年的“淘宝村”名单，2023年11月入选「广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村」[1]。
