历史沿革[edit]
据《顺德县地名志》，约960年的五代末宋初，黎姓人在此开村，称黎村；后来黎姓迁走，村名以谐音改为荔村[1]。
人口与荣誉[edit]
据博雅地名网转载的伦教街道资料，村内居住者一万三千多人，户籍6123人，外来七千多人[1]。荔村进入2021年、2022年的“淘宝村”名单；2024年8月入选佛山市“百千万工程”第二批典型镇村名单，2026年1月又获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」[1]。
