名称由来[edit]
站在官湖最高的九栋岭上往下看，四周地形像一把官椅围着一片碧绿的湖，故名官湖。[1]
人口[edit]
居住人口约1500人，户籍居民409人；社区由村改居而来，不设居民小组。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
社区建有东纵北撤纪念公园。博雅地名网记载，据称东江纵队北撤时从这里下海，当年（1946年）6月30日，2583名官兵乘美军登陆艇去了烟台；宝安县人民政府1989年在此修了纪念亭，后列为深圳市爱国主义教育基地。[2] （大鹏新区政府网站把该纪念亭记在沙鱼涌海滩，见沙鱼涌。）
望渔岭公园里有一段长约1200米的「六合一」多功能绿道示范段，是大鹏新区首条建成的此类绿道，同时承担林业科研、防火、景观、登山、护林和救援六种用途，连接雷公山、望渔岭、沙渔村古村落和纪念公园。[2] 官湖海岸被礁石分成大小不等的5个海滩。[2] 2022年3月，官湖社区入选首批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区。[1]
