名称由来[edit]
一条发源于坪山红花岭的小溪绕村而行，一直流到入海的涌口，村子因此叫溪涌。[1]
沿革[edit]
博雅地名网转述的沿革称，这里在历代分属番禺、博罗、宝安、东尧、新安等郡县；1949年后，它曾是葵涌公社的溪涌大队，后来成为葵涌镇的溪涌村民委员会。[1] 1993年1月改属龙岗区葵涌镇。社区居委会2004年9月10日挂牌，不过党支部1988年就已设立。[1][2]
人口与经济[edit]
社区有四个居民小组（上洞、溪涌、盐村、洞背），常住3415人，户籍居民为701人。[2] 有工厂企业11家、小商店50多间、股份合作公司5个。[2] 临海地段先后引来金海滩俱乐部、万科十七英里和玫瑰海岸婚庆文化产业基地等项目。[2] 2022年3月入选首批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区。[1]
