名称与沿革[edit]
城市化改造时，葵涌村改为社区，取名「葵新」，寓意新时代、新观念，有开拓创新之意。[1] 这里在1986年底到1992年底是宝安县葵涌镇的葵涌村，宝安分区后（1993年）归龙岗区，2004年农村城市化时才改作社区。[1]
人口与设施[edit]
社区有户籍居民331户、1321人，分成九个居民小组：澳头、白一、白二、虎地排、新二、新三、新罗、东门和张屋。辖区内有葵涌中学和若干企事业单位，穿过境内的道路有盐坝高速、坪葵公路以及金业路、金葵路、葵鹏路。[2]
荣誉[edit]
荣誉方面：2019年9月入选广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单；2022年3月成为首批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区；2023年1月，司法部和民政部命名它为第九批全国民主法治示范村（社区）。[1]
