名称由来[edit]
据二百多年前的记载，古时有三条溪流经过此地，居民的生活用水都靠它们，因而得名三溪。[1]
沿革[edit]
建国之初（1949年10月）三溪归惠阳县第四区（大鹏区），1951年11月划入第七区，1957年底撤区并乡后属葵沙乡。1958年实行公社化，先属惠阳县大鹏公社，11月起属宝安县大鹏公社。[1] 葵涌公社1960年自大鹏公社分出后，三溪成为其中的生产大队，下有10个生产队；1983年7月政社分开，改称三溪乡，隶属葵涌区。[1]
人口与荣誉[edit]
社区有25234人（博雅地名网所载，年份未注明），设10个居民小组，名称有中新、曾屋、黄屋、石碑、围之布，也有上、下禾塘和福田、油榨、新屋仔。[1] 2022年3月入选首批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区；同年8月，又列为广东省2022年民主法治示范村（社区）的创建单位。[1]
