沿革[edit]
据社区材料，200多年前蔡氏祖先迁到此处围海造田，定居成村。[3] 1990年沙溪村委会分设沙浦围村委会（社区材料写作1991年），2001年9月更名沙浦围村委会，2004年城市化改制为社区居委会。[1][3]
古村与文化[edit]
社区材料称，沙浦围古村落以岭南风格砖瓦房屋为主，巷道整齐，村前有风水鱼塘，村内有多间祖祠，距今约300年。[3] 社区有龙舟队，每年端午办龙舟比赛。[3]
社区概况[edit]
辖区面积1.0887平方千米，辖区距107国道不到1公里，地铁11号线和6号线在此建有多个出入口。[2] 2024年1月，社区获评2023年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
