坪岗村是广东省南雄市江头镇所辖的行政村。村名因村庄所在地势较高而平整，“平”与“坪”谐音得名。[1][2]据博雅地名网所录村情，全村设12个村民小组，人口1466人（年份未注明），主要种植水稻、黄烟、花生。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初期，坪岗隶属南雄县四区宝江乡，一度单独设乡，合作化时期建起初级社和高级社。人民公社时期，它先是水口公社元甫管理区下的生产大队，中间有两年多并入湖口公社，后重归水口公社。公社在1977年拆分，坪岗随之划给新成立的江头公社。此后乡、管理区的称呼更替，直到1998年12月撤区建村，才成立现在的村民委员会。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，坪岗村获「2023年广东省卫生村」命名。[1]
