历史沿革[edit]
建国初期涌溪随宝江乡归第四区管辖，合作化时期自成涌溪乡，后又划入荆江乡。1960年代初体制调整，改属水口公社；1977年春，再转入刚分出的江头公社。进入1980年代，先后经历乡、管理区的阶段，1998年撤区建村后设村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
2026年3月，江头镇在涌溪村召开第四批省级典型村培育推进会，提出要深挖村里的古榕树、古井、古码头、古书院和龙母宫。会上通报，村里已种下桂花、银杏、黄花风铃木等苗木305株，并与韶关学院对接，编制村庄规划。[3]
荣誉[edit]
广东省爱卫会于2023年5月授予涌溪村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
