地名由来[edit]
村子坐落在大源河与小源河交汇的地方，故称夹河口。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年设红色农会，1954年改红色初级社，1956年转高级社，1961年称红色大队，1988年红色大队易名夹河口管理区，1998年12月起改设村民委员会。[1] 百度百科称这里是革命老区，红军长征时曾路过。[3]
经济[edit]
全村面积13.05平方千米，山地20796亩，耕地1548亩，树种主要是松、杉、竹。[1] 据百度百科，村曾是省定贫困村，近年尝试以“村集体+企业+农户”的方式发展五指毛桃种植。[3]
