历史沿革[edit]
1958年设开封大队，1983年改设开封乡政府，1987年设村委会，1989年称管理区，1998年重设村委会，沿用至今。[1]
地理与交通[edit]
坪乳公路和京珠高速公路都穿过村境。博雅地名网转载的村情材料说，开封村是2008年1月冰冻灾害中受灾较重的地区之一。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
同一份材料（未注明年份）记，全村210户、946人，农田830亩，林地323.7公顷，贫困户75户、362人；种水稻、玉米、番薯，养猪和家禽，村委会全年收入不足1万元。[1]
2025年11月，村里的一家合作社有30亩「高山红薯」基地，亩产约3500斤，产品销往珠江三角洲一带；合作社已把一部分红薯加工成红薯干。[2]
荣誉[edit]
开封村获评广东省卫生村（2023年度，2024年3月命名）。[1]
