历史沿革[edit]
1958年这里设白蚕大队，1983年改设白蚕乡政府，1987年设村委会，1989年称管理区，1998年重新设村委会，沿用至今。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
博雅地名网转载的村情材料（未注明年份）记，全村有155户、703人，耕地440亩，林地223.5公顷；其中贫困户67户、313人。村里有卫生站和小学各1所，主要种水稻，养猪为主，收入多靠外出务工，饮水以山泉水为主。材料认为适合发展的项目有黄烟、反季节蔬菜和规模化养猪。[1]
荣誉[edit]
白蚕村获评广东省卫生村，评选年度为2023年，2024年3月公布。[1]
