历史沿革[edit]
塘村在1958年成立生产大队，1983年改设乡政府，1987年成立村民委员会，1989年一度改称管理区，1998年又恢复为村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。黄圃镇的现镇址就在塘村，镇名则来自旧时的黄圃司村[2]。
人口民族[edit]
2020年镇政府的概况称，全镇邓姓约7000人，白姓约6000人，两姓在塘村都有分布[2]。
