历史沿革[edit]
瑶村与纱帽岗曾长期合署：1951年合为瑶纱乡，1958年分开，瑶村改叫瑶村大队，1983年再合，1984年再分，瑶村称瑶村乡。[1] 1987年设瑶村管理区，1989年随城郊乡划入太平镇，1998年建立瑶村村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，瑶村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
崇益堂在上邓自然村东，墨江北岸、南蛇岭脚下，由邓纯杰、邓纯周于民国二十年（1931年）建成。[2] 它由主厅、民宅、围楼和围墙连成「回」字形，东北角开一道拱门，占地约1073平方米。[2] 2012年10月20日，广东省人民政府将它列入第七批省级文物保护单位（序号93），类别为近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑。[2]
