历史沿革[edit]
这里在1957年办过前进农林场，1961年设罗围大队。1962年与东湖坪并为东围大队，三年后分开，仍叫罗围大队。[1] 此后依次改为罗围乡（1983年）、罗围管理区（1987年），1998年建立罗围村村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，罗围村获「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」称号。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
罗围城堡遗址在犁头嘴，正处浈江与墨江汇合的地方，1984年被发现。[2] 城址平面近似三角形，占地八千多平方米，周长420米；墙基用河卵石垒起，墙身夯土，残高三四米。[2] 出土有板瓦、筒瓦以及陶瓮、陶罐，推断从西汉用到东汉；史书上没有这座城的记载。[2] 1989年6月，广东省人民政府将它公布为文物保护单位，维基百科的列表把它排在第三批省级、编号3-81。[2][3]
