村域总面积25000亩，其中林地23000亩，耕地2000亩，有煤、铁矿资源。长期以农业为主，种植水稻、花生，改革开放后又种茄子、辣椒，并养鸡、鸭、鱼、猪。据村里的资料，总人口1683人，2009年基本完成人畜饮水工程。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1941年属第四区，新中国成立后属曲江县第五区，1955年归犁市区，1957年为犁市乡，1983年复称犁市区，1986年属犁市镇，2004年划入浈江区。[1]
