经济[edit]
村域总面积9750亩，其中林地5550亩，耕地4200亩。长期以农业为主，种植水稻、蔬菜，养猪、养禽，所产萝卜以个大、清甜、高产著称。据村里的资料，总人口2663人，蔬菜种植1500亩，鱼塘1200亩，村内办有小学、文化室、卫生站各1间。2020年8月，厢廊村入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（铁皮石斛）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村里的资料记，1167年这一带属广南东路韶州；1963年一度划属乳源瑶族自治县，1969年6月归犁市乡，其后于1986年划入曲江县犁市镇，2004年随镇划入浈江区。2017年3月，沙尾村从厢廊村分出，另立行政村。[1][2]
石斛产业[edit]
犁市镇政府2023年的报道写到润斛公司在镇内的铁皮石斛种植基地，占地280多亩，年产值近1300万元，采用「公司+基地+农户」的做法。[3] 镇概况把厢廊村与大村村并列为省级「一村一品」专业村。[4]
