历史沿革[edit]
1956年这里办有塔岗、朗吓、木棉三个高级社，1958年公社化时各成一个大队，1963年上半年合在一起，称塔岗大队，隶新塘公社。1983年成为塔岗乡，1987年设塔岗村民委员会，由永和镇管辖，2004年随镇并入新塘镇，2012年转入永宁街道。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
村情介绍称，面积约4平方公里，人口2280人，设8个合作社；四邻是九如村（东）、蒌元村（西）、陂头村（南）和翟洞村（北），新新公路与永宁大道从村中通过。[1] 村民以个体经商和务工为主，人均年收入约5000元；村里引进了誉山国际地产、广州五羊本田、东凌集团等20家公司。[1]
2023年5月，塔岗村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
