历史沿革[edit]
村名解放前即为叶岭；土改后叫叶岭乡，1956年办叶岭高级社，1958年10月公社化时编为叶岭大队，隶新塘公社。1983年大队改称乡，1987年设叶岭村民委员会，由永和镇管辖，2004年随镇并入新塘镇，2012年转入永宁街道。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
村情介绍称，全村面积3平方公里，常住人口1168人，分7个村民小组，南与公安村相连，新新公路穿过全境。[1] 村里山多地少、森林覆盖率高；20世纪90年代初荔湖高尔夫球场建在村南，此后陆续引进了机械、摩托车、电子、电力设备等企业，还有一处矿石场。[1]
2023年4月公布的「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单中有叶岭村。[1]
