澄溪村属惠州市惠东县大岭街道，是街道下辖的行政村。据博雅地名网，一条小溪从村东侧流过，水清如镜，因此叫澄溪。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立后，澄溪属棠阁行政村；1951年12月是惠阳县第十一区的澄溪小乡，1953年自棠阁分出为乡，1957年12月并入永西乡，1958年建大队。1984年重新并入棠阁乡；1987年3月依惠东府函〔1987〕27号文，澄溪设村委；1990年作管理区，1998年设村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，澄溪村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
