洪湖村属惠州市惠东县大岭街道，是街道下辖的行政村。据博雅地名网，村东南地势低洼，中间一片湖里的鱼多为黄尾鱼，叫黄尾湖；清光绪年间改称黄本湖，后又改称洪湖。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1962年，洪湖、小布、黄本湖合并成洪湖大队。1984年同大岭合为大岭乡，1987年3月称大岭村委；1988年，大岭村委并入平新居委，随后重新划开，洪湖一侧另立村委。1990年作管理区，1998年定名洪湖村。[1]
荣誉[edit]
洪湖村于2020年、2021年、2022年连续上榜淘宝村名单；2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
