2020年12月，广东省爱卫会授予黄岗村「2020年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[2]

经济[edit]

2020年，镇内第一个「人大代表创业示范基地」在村内组建，起初租地40亩，2023年种植规模扩大到50亩，种植的作物主要是优质水稻和指天椒。[3]
