马安村位于宋桂镇东部，村内以水稻、蔬菜、沙糖桔等种植为主。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，此地编入惊天人民公社，为其下的马安生产大队；1961年4月宋桂人民公社设立后，仍称马安生产大队。[1][3]1983年改设宋桂区公所下的马安乡，1987年为宋桂镇的马安村民委员会。[1][3]

1989年曾设马安管理区，1999年再度恢复为村民委员会。[3]

2022年1月，马安村被认定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」的创建单位。[1]2023年5月，马安村的东风村获广东省爱卫会颁授「2022年广东省卫生村」荣誉。[1]2026年1月，马安村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」称号。[1]
