迳口村是郁南县大湾镇下辖的行政村，村内狮子头村有狮子名山（狮子庙）。[1][3]

村名因村委会处在过迳出口的位置而命名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明、清两代隶属保和都图。民国时大湾、塔脚、安宁三乡同属第七区的塔安乡。建国后成为迳口行政村，公社化时改设迳口生产大队，1958年再设生产大队；1983年改建为乡，1987年改设村委会，1989年称迳口管理区办事处，1999年重新称村委会。[2]

乾隆甲子年，万氏始祖光贤公自宋桂镇迁来；曰溶公一支张氏于清末从罗定双东镇迁入，另一支张氏自福建省厦门市迁入；邓氏则由罗定平塘镇迁入。现有张、伍、万、邓4姓，张姓最多，约占30%。[1]

文化遗存[edit]

狮子名山又称狮子庙，位于迳口村委狮子头村的桥头，南江河边。现存庙宇为清光绪二十四年（1898年）重建，屋脊以佛山陶瓷装饰，内外有木雕、灰塑和壁画。庙宇纪念三国时期的关羽、孔明、张飞、周仓、关平等人物。[3]

郁南县人民政府于2003年将狮子名山公布为县级文物保护单位。[3]

荣誉[edit]

广东省爱卫会于2021年12月授予迳口村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]

迳口村属于2022年广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（肉鸡），由广东省农业农村厅在2022年10月认定。[1]

第五批云浮市「民主法治示范村（社区）」的名单上，迳口村于2023年11月入列。[1]

2024年1月，迳口村获确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
