东一村的名称来自其位于建城东面，而建城河把此地分为南北两片，南片即东一片。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

李、梁、黄、黎、杨、朱、姚、张、刘等姓先后迁入。建国后设立附城行政村，此后转为东一生产大队，再改乡人民政府；1987年起称东一村委会，1989年改东一管理区，1999年恢复村委会。[1]

1958年归建城公社管辖，1983年划入建城区公所，1987年起隶属建城镇人民政府。[1]

1960年代村委驻地在内迳庙，1970年代迁往大岭珠，1997年起设于建城镇朱屋东堤口。[1]

荣誉[edit]

东一村在2020年8月入选首批「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，产品为无核黄皮。[1]
