大江镇位于新兴县南部，是广东省革命老区镇，镇政府驻大江圩，距县城34公里。镇域东接六祖镇，南邻里洞镇与阳春市，西与天堂镇交界，北连河头镇。全镇森林覆盖率达86%，合河水库坐落境内，是县里的生态涵养区，也是饮用水源保护区。[1][3]

镇内红色遗迹与传统文化遗存并存，有合水党史纪念室、合河祖庙与洪圣庙，还有列入县级非物质文化遗产的「梭郎十三晚」民俗活动。[1][5]

历史沿革[edit]

大江镇所在的合河一带是老区，镇是广东省革命老区镇。[1] 明代这里属新兴县仁丰都；清朝末年划为第三区，1949年10月改属第四区。[3]

1948年前后，合河一带既是根据地也是全县武装斗争的后方，县委与七团司令部遂在单竹仔、合水（担水坑）和蓝厂设立交通医疗站，救护伤员并协助转送。1949年3月，新兴县第一个乡政权合河乡人民政府在合河圩成立。[5]

这一带的建制几经更替：合河乡1957年设立，1958年10月与里洞乡合并为里洞公社，1961年4月合河公社自里洞公社分出；1983年8月改设合河区，1987年3月为大江乡，翌年11月定名大江镇。[3]

地理环境[edit]

镇域多山，森林覆盖率达86%，山水相依。[1] 博雅地名网记面积为103平方千米，政府网站所载为105.91平方千米，两者不同。[3]

合河水库在镇内，是云浮地区最大的水库。[2] 据百度百科，水库1973年动工，1978年建成，属中型水利枢纽工程；总库容为9643万立方米，集水区面积达139平方千米。[6][8]

大江镇属亚热带季风气候，雨水充沛，日照长、霜期短，适合种植花卉、水果、茶叶与药材。[4] 镇名取自当地人对四甲河上游的称呼“大江”，镇子临江而得名。[3]

政府网站2026年发布的镇简介中，全镇常住人口一项为2008人，登记的全镇总人口则为10690人。[1] 2021年的镇简介把2020年底全镇人口估为约1.1万人。[2] 博雅地名网据第七次全国人口普查（2021年6月）记人口为4600人。[3]

经济[edit]

农业以大豆、油茶、青梅、肉桂等种植为主，特色农作物种植面积近万亩。[1]

镇内推动豆豉、腐竹、腊味等土特产提质增效，并以「大江优品汇」作为区域品牌。「大江豆豉制作技艺」已列入「云浮市第七批市级非物质文化遗产代表性项目名录」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

合河祖庙始建于明代嘉靖年间，在合河圩，背靠新阳界山主脉。庙内有天王殿、大雄宝殿、六祖殿、华光殿等殿堂，每三年举行一次大型诞会。[7]

洪圣庙也是镇内的历史遗迹。[1]

合水党史纪念室位于合河村委合水自然村，由原合水村文化室改建，设党史展示室、阅览室与党员工作坊，陈列大江一带的革命历史资料与英烈事迹。[5] 镇内另有七团革命烈士纪念碑。[2] 合河水库建设中形成的「团结、奉献、开拓、担当」精神，由合河水库精神展示馆陈列。[1][6]

文化[edit]

「梭郎十三晚」是一项有四百多年历史的民俗活动，已列入县级非物质文化遗产。[1]

2024年1月，云浮市卫生健康局授予大江镇「2023年云浮市卫生镇」称号。[3]
