五星村位于石城镇境内，村委会设在五星村委，是镇下辖的一个行政村。[1] 村名取自国旗五星红旗的「五星」，1958年后设五星大队，1999年定名为五星村委会，此名沿用至今。[1]

据博雅地名网，当时响应革命，以国旗五星红旗的「五星」为村名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年前本辖区属秋云乡，1949年后改为云青乡，1958年后分出五星大队。[1]

1983年撤社改区，称五星乡；1986年定为五星村民委员会，1992年设五星管理区，1999年又改称五星村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，五星村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1] 2023年11月，五星村获命名为第五批「云浮市民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]

2024年1月，五星村被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1][2]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予五星村「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号；2023年5月，下辖的矮岭村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]

2025年3月，五星村被命名为第七届全国文明村镇。[1][2] 2025年5月，五星村入选「2025—2026年全国示范性老年友好型社区创建名单」。[1]
