洞心村是云城区河口街道下辖的行政村，属城乡结合区。村名来自辖区内六条自然村所在的大田洞（同垌）中心一带，当地人自古统称此处为洞心。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年3月，此地先设为洞心乡，归河口乡管辖。1954年3月，当地办起洞心高级农业生产合作社，建制仍在河口乡内。1958年8月还在河口乡之下，同年10月另设洞心生产大队，改归河口人民公社。[1]

1983年这里再度称乡，并入河元区公所辖下；1986年成为村委会，划入河口镇；1989年改作管理区，隶属关系不变。1994年以后并入河口街道，1999年又定为村委会，至今仍在河口街道之内。[1]

2019年9月，洞心村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
