高田村又名小高田，明嘉靖年间创村。村子因建在地势较高处、人们在高处开荒种田而得名。村中传统尚武，有舞狮班，产油甘、橄榄、菠萝、青梅和李。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1974年，高田村从原来的大队中分出，自成大队。1987年改设村委会，1989年改设管理区，1999年又改为村委会。[1]
