黄岗村是周田镇的一个行政村，位于镇域中部，以农业为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传村地脉自关门山延伸，经数处岗埔，终聚于楼间仔埔，村北靠黄土山岗，故名黄岗。村落三面筑墙，外有护寨河，设东西两座寨门，又称黄岗寨，1950年后改称黄岗。[1]

元代中期（1320～1335），田氏自福建莆田迁来定居，后有方、林、王、蔡等姓陆续迁入，形成聚落。[1]

1950年设乡，辖内有三个自然村；1958年至1972年公社化时期改为黄岗大队，其间1973年与1975年先后分出两个村落；1983年为乡政府，1987年划为管理区，1999年改为村委会。[1]

2019年9月，黄岗村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

经济[edit]

村中主要种植水稻、番薯，2009年人均纯收入3213元。[1]
