南洋村的位置在灰寨镇东部，东侧与金和镇接壤，全村有15个自然村[1]。

村情[edit]

村民年均纯收入4250元；2007年，本村工农业产值超过三千七百万元，集体收入为3.8万元[2]。农户的收入主要来自农业，以及外出务工和经商[2]。

村内主干道已水泥化，沿路安装了路灯，农户用上了自来水，村里大力发展集体经济[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958至1983年间，南洋是生产大队。1984年2月，大队撤销，改设南洋乡政府；1986年转为南洋村委会，1990年改为管理区办事处，1999年又恢复村委会[1]。

荣誉与建设[edit]

2007年，南洋村被县文明办评为文明村[2]。2019年9月，本村入选「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单[1]。2021年12月，本村获得「2021年广东省卫生村」称号，由广东省爱卫会授出[1]。

南洋村是灰寨镇生态宜居美丽示范村的建设对象之一，也在农房管控和风貌提升示范带的范围内[3]。
