经济与农业[edit]

农民年均收入4852元；2009年，农村经济总收入达1582万元[1]。农作物以水稻、玉米、青榄、冬瓜为主，大榜园蔬菜基地已有一定规模[1]。

村北的灰寨公园已成为居民休闲的好去处[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1961年至1983年间为东联大队；1984年2月大队撤销，改设东联乡；1986年成立东联村民委员会，1990年转为管理区办事处，1999年又恢复为村民委员会[1]。

荣誉与建设[edit]

2021年12月，本村获得「2021年广东省卫生村」称号，由广东省爱卫会授出[1]。2023年4月，东联村列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单[1]。

东联村与后联、柑坑两村同为省定贫困村，三村的新农村建设获得了资金投入[2]。
