西湖村是广东省揭阳市揭东区月城镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西北部，东接新亨镇，西接桂岭镇，地处三镇交界。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村落创于清嘉庆年间。1951年，西埔与高湖两村合并为西湖乡。此后归属磐东公社（1958年起）与月城公社（1975年起），1983年改设月城区西湖乡，1986年才设立村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

村内以种植淮山、蔬菜和水稻为主，属于三高农业。[1]

文化[edit]

村中乡贤捐资建设了学校，并修筑了水泥路面。[1]
