据维基百科所载，林氏先人在公元1460年左右从饶平浮山灯塔迁来径口创业；约在公元1500年左右，吕氏与余氏也先后从东山镇迁来。[2]

2019年9月，径口村被列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
