历史沿革[edit]

1958年组成新厝大队。[1]1983年恢复为新厝乡；1986年归黄冈镇后建新厝村委会。[1]1990年改称新厝管理区，1999年重设新厝村委会。[1]

2021年12月，新厝村获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]
