赤水村是文祠镇下辖的行政村，又称赤水江，地属旱区，村名因此而来。村中现均为江姓。[1]

村史[edit]

江永伍于1586年（明万历十四年）自登荣都的东坑村来此定居，此后江姓逐渐成为村中主姓。过去村中另有陈、丁、尤等姓，今已不见。1973年至1976年间，该村先后与赤内、上赤等大队有过划分，名称仍沿用赤水；1999年起改设赤水村民委员会。[1]

人口与产业[edit]

2005年，本村有136户、535人；山地1706亩，耕地224亩。盛产橄榄与杨梅。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，本村进入2018年度省民主法治示范村创建名单。[1]
