白水村是登塘镇下辖的行政村，东南距登塘墟约4公里，安丰公路沿村边经过。[1][2]

村名取自村南山坳中的白水岩古寺。村子创于清代中叶，初建时以陈姓为先，现以柯姓人口为多。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年公社化期间，白水与关竹合为白水大队；1974年白水从关竹分出，仍沿用原名；1999年改为白水村民委员会。[1][2]

村子辖涸溪、顶厝寮、埔头岭、哢村四个自然村。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

2006年12月，全村4120人。村域面积0.8平方公里，耕地1318亩。村民从事农林业，种水稻、甘薯和甘蔗，山地发展杉、松、竹、菠萝和什果。[1][2]

2020年8月，白水村以菠萝入选首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单；2022年10月，列入「2022年淘宝村」名单；2019年9月，列入民主法治示范村名单。[1]

文化[edit]

白水岩位于村南，是一座方圆200多公顷的公园式山峦，明代已有名气。岩区有明代摩崖石刻佛像。[2][3]
