南龙社区位于三乡镇南部，面积约4.5平方千米，三面环山，南面与坦洲镇相连，西面与神湾镇为邻。社区名称取自南坑、龙井两个村各一字，由原南龙村改设而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1983年，此地与平一、平二并为平岚乡。1986年12月，南龙独立出来，成立南龙村委会，隶属三乡镇。2001年底，南龙又与平南村组成一个村委会。2011年才分设南龙社区居委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

白水林山和龙潭水库位于境内，南龙河自西向南流过。村口紧靠105国道；村西一侧有公路与广珠公路相接，另有金凤公路直通神湾港。森林面积约4168亩。[2]

人口民族[edit]

村集体把征地拆迁后剩余的厂房整合出租，约5881平方米；又收购南龙市场后分租经营。村内以轻工业、来料加工和生态旅游为主。[2]

泉林山庄位于白水林山下，占地600余亩，投资逾6000万元。园区建有高山滑草、观光缆车、彩弹野战、军事博览中心等项目，兼有度假、会议和科普教育的功能，属大型旅游度假区。[1][3]

文化[edit]

据博雅地名网，村里近年先后获得“国家生态示范村”“广东省卫生村”等称号。2026年3月，社区被列入广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型名单。[1][2]
