沙角村在石排镇东部，与企石镇接壤，村内石崇大道与东江大道相通，从莞高速也在村内设有出入口。村域约3.36平方公里，分为6个经济社。[1]

村内有沙角内河，为海仔河的一级支渠。村民中走出过黄庄平等历史人物，村社两级2025年的经营收入合计达2149万元。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网所记沿革：1950年归企石第七区；1958年设沙角营；1962年并入石排公社，改为沙角大队。[2]

村内常住总数12225人；户籍一项2836人，另有9389人是外来人口。[1]

经济与人居环境[edit]

村内耕地约2398亩，其中永久农田691.8亩。[1]2019年以来，村里投入400多万元整治沙角内河，该河全长2.66公里。[1]

著名人物[edit]

黄庄平（1917—1995）为沙角村人，少年时在东莞中学读书，后任广东省委宣传部副部长，并任中共广州市委员会主任。[2][3]
