西湖村是广东省东莞市石龙镇下辖的行政村，位于东江下游，东南方靠近深圳，北面连接广州。镇政府网站称它是石龙历史上最为悠久的村子。[1]

村域面积3.6平方千米，村中有六个自然村，分别是官厅、麦边、李屋、下甲、新围和徐棉。[1] 本地户籍村民3232人，常住人口约1.5万人。[1]

博雅地名网称，西湖大力发展商业，形成服装、家具与商贸等市场，其中西湖服装批发市场占地为全市最大。[2] 据博雅地名网，村里的金沙湾购物广场建筑面积约6万平方米，周边配套了酒店和五金、电子批发。[2]

村内有幼儿园3所和小学1所，每个自然村都建有篮球场。[2] 石龙中学、石龙体育馆等项目也落实了规划。[2]

镇政府网站称，西湖村是广东省生态村、东莞市镇级名村和市「特色精品示范村」，同时入选广东省「百千万工程」第二批典型村培育对象。[1]
