社区户籍人口3458人，外来人口5300余人，社区内常住户数为843户。[1]

社区下辖6个经联社分社，即横岭、犬眠岭、洋田沥、九头村、旧锡边和洋杞坑分社。[2]

2016年底，社区两级总资产3.72亿元（经联社0.71亿元，股份分社3.01亿元），两级总收入6535万元，厂房面积47.3万平方米。[2]

社区建有文化中心，设有影剧院、电子阅览室、图书室和老人活动中心，并有7个篮球场。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年度广东省民主法治示范村（社区）的认定结果于2024年1月公布，社区名列其中。[1]
